SME Chamber of India and Manufacturers & Exporters Association of India have initiated “SME Insurance Promotion Council” as a prime division to provide valuable information & education about various insurance products & services & create awareness amongst SME sector, manufacturers, exporters, service sector, infrastructure, start-ups and allied industrial & business sectors its benefits & advantages. This Council will play unique roles to integrate insurance companies, brokers, agents, consultants and service providers to educate and train entrepreneurs & their main work force to avail of various services and benefits of the various insurance products & services to secure their life, property, business, health and their future.
The Council will play vital role to suggest and recommend to Government of India and IRDAI for policy framework change and its speedy implementation about insurance sectors for the benefit of policy holders and resolution of claims and its speedy settlements. The Council will organise regularly various awareness & training programs, conferences, business meetings, interactive sessions, debates and deliberations related to insurance sectors as well as provide a platform to insurance sectors to connect with the potential enterprises. The Council will not market or sell any policies to any enterprise and not a part of any insurance company or insurance brokers. The Council will also follow the rules & regulations of IRDAI and Government of India and will dedicatedly put efforts for the empowerment of enterprises to continue their contribution to accomplish the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister to march towards ‘Viksit Bharat’.
